  Knowledgeable and Compassionate. My cats have been going to Southfork for 10 years and they are an outstanding group of people. Dr. Paula is very compassionate, kind, thorough and knowledgeable. She has diagnosed my cat's ailments correctly and helped save the life of my cat Mitts. She really took the time to check him out and gave him all the necessary tests. They have a network of highly specialized vets that they work with who also come in to the office. My cat needed radiation treatment for his thyroid tumor and now he is happy and healthy. The care and compassion they give to my pets is superb. When the time came to put my cat Mandy to sleep - they helped and assisted in a very dignified, loving manner. I trust them completely with the health of my pets. Update: it is now going on 18 years that my cats have been going to Southfork. I would not trust anyone else to take care of my dear pets. Dr. Paula Schanck is wonderful, as are all the other healthcare providers who work there. The people at the front desk have always been helpful, kind and caring. I know that when I bring my cats to Southfork, they will get the utmost in professional, technologically-advanced care, combined with a compassionate human touch.
